Bonet thickness increased, weight increased, crumble zones improved to observe the collision and save the peope who sit inside the car. Dzire scored 5 star safety not from BNCAP, it scored from global NCAP. Also 17 lakh dizre's on road, one amoung 10 cars being sold is a dsire, highest sales in compact sedan segment, lowest maintenance . This bloody channel doesnt have any knowledge on cars, crumple zones, safety. One of the worst discussion. Who said only Dzire is being used in CAB ?.

If metal sheet thickess is not improved, again we need to think twice before go for this car. ☹ May be additional frame strength on impact corners and sunroof increased the weight of the car. We have to wait and see for real time scenarios before conclude. !
First understand something, safety is not based on the weight, how it save the people who sit inside the dizre will be saved from the impact during collision and accident.

If they improved the frame strength, only on impacted corners, that would be see as a work-around. Body strength and dynamic balancing are also a must in design for saftey. If the car does good on saftey at on-road that should be a good thing !

I have Tata Tigor, it gets rust on almost all the areas but japanese cars won't rust easily. The tensile strength is achieved by design and frame. Read about what are all the tests being conducted. Also it's in your hands as well. There are 17 lakh Dezire on Indian roads and Suzuki cars being sold in 184 countries. India's largest manufacturer and seller. How many friends of your circle own Suzuki cars and how many died in accidents ? See in real time if collision happens at more than 64 kmph no car is safe.

Other manufacturers tests their vehicles with 2 air bags while dzire test were conducted with 6 airbags with 920kg weight and Shall we consider it as 4 star equal ???

Why would they test their vehicle with two airbags? Allow them to test with six airbags and earn five stars. All of these tests are being performed on the base model of the car, and it is greatly appreciated that Maruti includes six airbags in their base models.

It is not based on a place somewhere in africa as you told. It is an organization registered in UK (though UK follows a difference Car assessment programme) and it adopts the vision and mission of UN for promoting road safety.

One of the most ignorant videos ever. "If 6 airbags are given 4 star is guaranteed"!!! Really??? When you drive, how can you notice the strengthening of the skeletal structure? Are you superman with X-Ray vision? And How is the side pole impact related to ESP? First as per revised GNCAP ratings, even cars which scored 3-star in the old criteria scored 0 or 1-star in the new criteria. This same criteria when it was used for the Verna when it got 5-stars, I never found you doing any analysis about it. But once Maruti comes up with 5-stars, you have to bring in all your bullshit to make it seem that the car is actually unsafe and that Maruti-Suzuki basically did some gimmicks to get this 5-star. Check other videos that came through from the actual test site. Post the frontal crash, it was clear that both the front doors were intact with 0% deformity and could be opened and shut just like normal, which is a huge improvement. Very few cars in the market today that can demonstrate that level of structural integrity. Not sure how much your paymasters gave you to create this video.
